| Recognition for excellence and creativity on the World Wide Web | |
|
It took awhile to review your site... but rest assure it was not forgotten. It
can be hard at times with a panel of judges who have different schedules -- And I must
admit... they are very tough judges ! Many sites have been reviewed but very few are
awarded diamonds. One thing that was brought to my attention by two panel members was the uniform presentation of the each of the artist pages... they recommended that you try and stay with the same format for each artist you are exhibiting... and all the reviewers thought the site was very attractive and easy on the eyes. |

many thanks for the Gallery update. Stuck out here, in rural Nova
Scotia, these connections keep me alive!!!!! Now to attempt the live webcam. WOW. its the greatest thing in ceramics/sculpture technology to date. Many thanks |
|
|
The website is absolutely awesome! The ceramics are just beautiful and I
was very impressed with site layout. Also, because of the bit of
education I recently received on the wood burning firing process, I
enjoyed the photos. Thanks for introducing me to all this. |
|
|
I want to send few words, just to give
you thanks for making it possible.
I live in Barcelona, but I could
"visit" the workshop from Madrid (Spain) on 14-July, and I
enjoyed a lot "being there" across the web site. Thank
you again, and, don't remove me from your list!

i visited your site and toured the peter callas gallery. i help dan finch at finch pottery in bailey north carolina and will be helping with the callas workshop next year. so i am trying to "get to know" peter callas and his work better. your site is very helpful and the photos of his pieces are great. i am a novice to wood fire, but i live for the fire. so whenever dan fires his kiln, i am there. just wanted to let you know i was here and will return. and thanks for the update to my email. joanne wood |

For all of you clayarters .....there is a new web site that deserves a
peek.....ceramicsculpture.com.......currently has very good quality images of Voulkos, Callas, and Okazaki's work......there are other links and services as well......... for those of you who question the validity of the japanese influence on american ceramics this is a place to start pondering the mystery further....from Callas to Voulkos these are some of the gutsiest ( and crustiest) woodfired objects that I have seen. anagama... if you build it he will come Happy aesthetic wandering and pondering....... |

Greetings, I am an artist from cold Winnipeg, Manitoba, Canada. and I came upon your site quite by accident (I am glad that I did). |
|
| We've had a chance to look at your site in some detail and to check out the link. We were very impressed by your site. The awards for site design are clearly well deserved! | |
| JUST SURFING LOOKING FOR SPECIAL VASES FOR IKEBANA AND INTRESTING SCULPTURES GOOD SITE CONGRATULATIONS | |
|
We think your ceramicsculpture.com site is wonderful, and you will no doubt be the ceramic site of the 21st century, as a great start has been
made. We have had the pleasure of having Don Reitz and Peter Voulkos workshopping in New Zealand. Our website is quite new too. we have set up four virtual selling galleries. Did you see them? Ours is a resource for all New Zealand Craft artists, and like you we believe ours will be the internet best for all craft. We have copied and pasted your banner onto our site, and would be delighted to trade ours for yours. We have also made a link to your site, and will tell people in our news function about you. Congratulations; a great initiative. Regards, John Dinsdale |
|
| I check your site regularly and it's looking great!! Keep up the good work. | |
|
I looked at your site again last night -- I cant believe how expansive it is. Congratulations on your awards for the site. |
|
| It is most refreshing to see a web site devoted to ceramic sculptors, especially the likes of Callas, Okazaki and Voulkos. Best regards and good luck with your new venture. | |
| Thanks for adding the link to your great site, I feel quite proud to have been accepted. | |
| After viewing the slide presentations, I longed for my days at Alfred University in the early 70's and my 40 year love affair with clay. Congratulations on your terrific web site Lee Levy | |
| Your site is awesome. | |
|
Thanks for letting me know about the latest additions in your already wonderful galleries I haven't had time to visit them yet, but I'm looking forward to it. I also wish you and everyone who visits this site a very Happy Holiday Season and a great 2000. Eliana |

I am just one of your enthusiastic
supporters, cuddos on the updates...I was enamoured with the slide shows, all the big
names. |
|
|
Phil, I would like to thank you for your update, especially with the timetable. I found this extremely interesting, as the ground you have
covered in two months is nothing short of remarkable. Given the concept and the quality of the total site with the
gallery layout, I am not surprised you have been a bit overwhelmed by artistic applicants. Our links to your site give us 3-4 people per day,
which delights me, and gives our ceramic artists a buzz. I wish you all the best for the New Year. Regards George. |

I just wanted to say that this is one of the best ceramic sculpture sites I have seen so far on the web. As a ceramic student this is a great discovery
for myself. Ceramic history at the click of a button. Thank you Raoul Pacheco |

Can I thank you for providing a truly excellent resource on American
Ceramics. There is so MUCH here - and far more than the little brown jug
makers of which we have so many over this side of the pond. . Again a
great site. Nice to see the Don Reitz stuff again which I had forgotten
about. Many Many thanks, Kev
